Siklis trekking has been one of most loved trekking areas in Nepal, since the trail is considered to be one of the picturesque treks. The trail passes through the charming villages, intriguing patterns of terraced fields; rhododendron forest and high alpine meadows nestled below the towering mountains of Annapurna II (7937m) and IV (7525m) are some of the key features of this trek. During the trek in the area, you can have a view of Great Mountain and rough terrain. This trekking is a spectacular short trek through the Gurung (Gurkhas) village and dense forest. Therefore, it has been one of the alternatives to other short treks in Annapurna region. The trekking is off the main trails through Gurung village and takes through rice terraces and cornfields and then cuts over a ridge clad in lush green forest and enchants by the panoramic views of Machapuchare (fishtail peak) and other mountains lying along the region.

Siklis Trek begins from Pokhara, where we reach either by direct flight or bus from Kathmandu, generally we camp near the Begnas lake, next day we begin our trek from Beganas Tal (Lake) and heads to the north to Baral along with the Madi Khola. Subsequently, to Chymarang and finally we reach at well-preserved Siklesh (1,980m) through the Gurung villages. Throughout the way, we can have magnificent views of Himalaya, farms and scattered forests filled with various kinds of birds. We make trips along the Siklis and explore the areas which have yet been unexplored and we head to Hoga and have rest explore the areas and take snaps of the Himalayas and natural inhabitants of the area and we head to Chipli, Burijung Khola, Bharaburi and then to Chisopani and subsequently we reach to Pokhara and return back to Kathmandu either by flight or by bus.
