Paragliding is an activity that offers experiences like no other. The best thing about it is that anyone can learn how to fly! Those new to the sport will be able to take a tandem flight with an experienced pilot. Your instructor will fix you to his / her harness and position you in the front. You will be attached to the parachute, which will be laid out on a grassy slope behind you. Your instructor will then tell you to run quickly down the slope. You will then take off into the air and start your flight; your instructor will steer the paragliding into thermals (patches of warm air) to gain height.While having paragliding trip, you will fly in the air like a bird along with the birds, floating above the picturesque village, monastery, temple, lake, or jungle and take beautiful snaps from high above in the ground.
Paragliding sport is available primarily in Annapurna region. The venue here in Nepal is regarded to be one of the best for flying after Switzerland. We take a 20 min jeep ride from Pokhara uphill to Sarangkot view point 2000ft above Lakeside. This is where we take off. From here we can see three highest mountains in the world. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, all over 8000m. We offer 3 types of tandem flights from here.
This flight is designed to give you the chance to experience flying from one valley to another. Using thermals, clouds and birds to guide us, we take you on an unforgettable journey north of Pokhara towards the big mountains. We fly as long as we can and aim to return to Pokhara same afternoon. Flight time - 1 hour approx.

Best time to fly in Nepal
The paragliding season in Nepal starts in September and ends in early June. But it is good all year still in July or August we get only 3-4 days non flying able. The best time to visit is mid Sept till April. The weather is consistent and therefore great for paragliding. July to September we fly almost every day...
